GMEN includes a network of microenterprise development organizations (MDOs) that provide direct services to microentrepreneurs for busines start-up, business growth, and access to capital. A microenterprise is a small business with 0-5 employees and needing less than $50,000 in start-up capital. GMEN also includes independent practitioners providing direct services to microentrepreneurs, usually as contractors with an MDO.
